Sometimes things don’t go as planned

Unfortunately, we’ ve got some bad news.
The Corona virus has also thwarted our plans.
As a result, the planned Meetup on March 12, 20 in Vienna will unfortunately not take place.
We are deeply sad to have to make this decision.

We fought until the last moment to bring this event to you.
Unfortunately, we received cancellations of the speakers at short notice – in addition, the Austrian government has taken measures, such as banning events with more than 100 participants.
Since we don’t know if these bans will be extended and of course to protect your health, we have decided not to let the Meetup take place for the time being.
This is very unfortunate as we were looking forward to an exciting evening with you.

We would also like to apologize to all of you who took time off for the Meetup and planned to come. We ask for your understanding in this extraordinary situation.
We would also like to thank and apologize to the participants/speakers who put a lot of time and heart and soul into their presentations.
Also for us as organizers the decision was not easy.
Besides a lot of time invested in planning and organisation, there were of course also costs for all participants. This is very regrettable.

Nevertheless: We will catch up the Meetup! You can be sure that we will rock Vienna as soon as the situation has calmed down.
As soon as there is any news we will communicate this via our social media channels* and the IOTA Vienna Meetup page.
